18 teams participated in the July 3rd and
19 teams participated in the July 4th
tournaments. Our sincere thanks to
everyone who helped make the
events a success. We enjoyed
seeing you at Cando's 125th Celebration!

We Had A Shrimp Boil For Lunch . . .
A shrimp boil is meant to be casual, and it’s was the perfect meal for a large group of friends and family - just the group that was assembled on Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th, as part of the Impact-Cando Connection Golf Tournament. The boil was done using shrimp, corn on the cob, smoked sausage, potatoes, and some great seasoning blend to flavor those items just right! The remaining meal items included cole slaw, rolls and butter, limeade and coffee, and to top it off - Dairy Queen treats for dessert.
The cost of lunch was $30.00 per person. This was a fundraising event for the Impact-Cando Connection Fund with 100% of the funds raised going directly to the Cando area. Impact Foundation does not assess any administrative processing fees.

The Impact-Cando Connection Fund Advisory Board members were proud to partner with the Cando Quasquicentennial Planning Committee and the Cando Golf Course for our 2009 Cando Connection Golf Tournament. It was a wonderful day of golf as part of our City's 125th Celebration!
